After his 2012 move to Canada, Chris has garnered a prestigious, family-like, dedicated clientele of local BC residents, artists, elite Vancouver business women as well as international actors, celebrities, and influencers who trust Chris exclusively to create world-class color, cut, and style.

As the winner of the Beauty Launchpad’s 2020 Top 30 Under 30, Chris has collaborated with some of the most prominent trailblazers in the industry, including Chrissy Rasmussen, Lo Wheeler Davis, and Nine Zero One Salon, as well as acting as a brand ambassador for Redken Canada & Haircation. Chris is passionate about constantly learning, growing, and developing emerging stylists on their own creative journey. Chris turns the salon chair into a classroom—leading workshops, providing coaching and shadowing opportunities, and educating stylists across North America through Vanilla Loft and teaching platforms like Beauty Coach.

Born and raised in Munich, Germany, Patrick Mirlach’s career took off after successfully completing hotel management training—a launchpad for going on to work with premium hotel groups and global fashion brands in customer service, visual management, and operations roles.

In 2017, Patrick’s innate business acumen led him to his entrepreneurial journey, becoming Co-Founder of Vanilla Loft. With a love of fashion, a keen eye for design, and a wealth of professional achievements, Patrick adeptly put Vanilla Loft on the map as a sanctuary where artists create an elevated salon
experience, as they continue to shape their craft in a client-centric atmosphere that serves an exceptional developmental space. Previously signed by three modelling agencies in Europe, Patrick has worked as a model and has been featured in publications including Vogue UK, Elle IT, Glamour UK and GQ UK, which further enhanced his fashion and beauty industry flair.

Patrick’s education and broad range of skills developed with high-end organizations formed the foundation for his hands-on role at Vanilla Loft which is multi-faceted and diverse, where he manages
